The information was announced by the Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs on September 1. Thus, Ukraine will become the largest recipient of foreign aid from Denmark for the second consecutive year.

According to Minister for Development Cooperation and Global Climate Policy Dan Jorgensen, Copenhagen's support will contribute to providing emergency aid to victims of the conflict and the early reconstruction of Kiev.

The aid will be channeled through the Ukraine fund, set up in 2023 to finance civil efforts in the country and its eastern neighbors.

The aid package is divided into two parts. The early recovery and reconstruction aid package for Ukraine will total 1.2 billion Danish kroner and the aid for regional efforts will be 306 million kroner.

* The Russian Defense Ministry said that its forces destroyed a total of 281 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) in the past week, including 29 UAVs in western Russia. This shows that the UAV war is currently taking place between the two countries.

Moscow has repeatedly attacked Kiev with one-way drones carrying explosives, which are much cheaper than missiles and can be difficult for air defense systems to intercept.

Ukrainian UAV attacks deep inside Russia have also increased since two UAVs were destroyed over the Kremlin in early May.

UAV attacks on the Russian capital have become increasingly common in recent months.

Russian officials revealed that Ukrainian UAVs attacked a town on September 1, which is home to one of Russia's largest nuclear power plants, although there were no reports of damage at the plant.
