BIDV's mark at the Government Party Congress: Courage, intelligence, creativity, autonomy and responsibility

On the morning of October 13, 2025, at the National Convention Center (Hanoi), the 1st Government Party Congress, term 2025-2030, officially opened.

The Congress was attended by 453 official delegates representing over 209,000 party members from 2,211 grassroots party organizations in the entire Government Party Committee and more than 120 invited delegates. This is a political event of special significance, marking a new development step in Party building work in government agencies.

In his speech at the Congress, General Secretary To Lam praised the comprehensive results of the Government Party Committee in the past term, and at the same time pointed out three requirements and five key work orientations for the 2025-2030 period. The General Secretary requested the entire Government Party Committee to continue to unify awareness and action, promote the spirit of solidarity, innovation and creativity, build a truly honest, active Government serving the people ; strongly shift from "administrative thinking" to "service thinking", build a team of "talented, visionary and dedicated" cadres, taking the effectiveness and satisfaction of people and businesses as important measures.

The five orientations identified by the General Secretary include: building a clean and strong Government Party Committee; developing the economy rapidly and sustainably in association with digital transformation and green transformation; implementing three strategic breakthroughs in institutions, infrastructure, and human resources; developing culture and society, ensuring social security and the environment; and at the same time, strengthening national defense and security, expanding foreign relations, and international integration.

The Congress also listened to important presentations on key issues and areas set forth in the draft documents of the 14th National Party Congress and the documents of the 1st National Party Congress for the 2025-2030 term. The presentations generalized the aspirations, visions and, above all, the responsibilities of the Government Party Committee, Party committees and organizations at all levels in the Government Party Committee in researching, concretizing and realizing the goals, tasks and solutions, with high determination and great efforts to successfully implement the Resolution of the 14th National Party Congress and the Resolution of the 1st National Party Congress for the 2025-2030 term.

Comrade Nguyen Thi Hong - Member of the Party Central Committee, Party Secretary, Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam presented a speech on the topic of monetary policy management. Governor Nguyen Thi Hong expressed her sense of responsibility and high determination, affirming her readiness to proactively lead and direct the entire industry, in order to continue to maintain macroeconomic stability and develop a safe and effective banking system, support high economic growth, and ensure the safe operation of the system.

After 2 days of serious discussion, 100% of delegates unanimously approved the Resolution of the 1st Government Party Congress, term 2025-2030. The Resolution demonstrates the aspiration, will and determination to "Build a clean and strong Government Party; unite, be exemplary in science and technology, innovation, digital transformation; accelerate breakthroughs, develop the country quickly and sustainably in the era of rising to wealth, prosperity, civilization and happiness"; focus on leading and directing the drastic, synchronous and effective implementation of the set goals and targets and 4 groups of solutions on Party building; 8 groups of solutions on socio-economic development; 2 groups of solutions on national defense, security and foreign affairs; 6 key tasks on strategic breakthroughs.

BIDV also had the opportunity to introduce to the leaders of the State Bank the BIDV Direct super application , a digital platform created by BIDV itself to serve more than 190,000 corporate customers , contributing to realizing the vision of building a digital economy and the goal of national digital transformation.

The Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam listened to BIDV's leaders present the Digital Banking application for corporate customers created by BIDV, thereby demonstrating BIDV's spirit of service and constant innovation towards the financial and technological needs of businesses and customers.

For the retail banking segment, BIDV brings to the Exhibition useful products for people such as BIDV Home home buying application, BIDVSmartBanking version X - an upgraded version integrating artificial intelligence (AI) to automatically classify spending transactions from account sources, cards, etc., supporting customers to track income and expenditure, build spending and saving plans/goals, and become an effective personal financial management assistant for customers.
