When and where is the Indonesian team match?

CAHN Club's opponent revealed

The 3-2 victory over Borneo Samarinda on the evening of February 6 helped CAHN Club close the group stage of the Southeast Asian Championship with a perfect record.

Coach Alexandre Polking and his team defeated Buriram United (2-1), Lion City Sailors (5-0), Kaya FC (2-1), Kuala Lumpur FC (3-2) and Borneo (3-2) to top Group B with 15 points. After 5 matches, the Vietnamese representative scored 15 goals, conceded 6 goals, and is the only team in this year's tournament to still maintain a perfect winning record.

With the top spot in Group B, CAHN Club will face PSM Makassar (second in Group A) in the semi-finals. The first leg will take place in Indonesia on April 2. Then on April 30, CAHN Club will host their opponents in the second leg on April 30, at Hang Day Stadium.

Unlike CAHN Club, the Indonesian representative had to wait until the final match to win 3-0 against Thanh Hoa to qualify for the group stage. PSM Makassar drew BG Pathum (0-0), won Shan United (4-3), Svay Rieng (1-0), Thanh Hoa (3-0) and lost to Terengganu (0-1).

PSM Makassar is not an unfamiliar opponent for the Vietnamese representatives. In 2019, the Indonesian team faced Binh Duong in the semi-finals of the AFC Cup Southeast Asia. Although PSM Makassar won 2-1 in the first leg at home in Indonesia, the team lost 0-1 in the second leg at Go Dau, thus stopping before Binh Duong due to the away goal rule.

In 2023, PSM Makassar will face a Vietnamese team again at the AFC Cup, which is Hai Phong Club. The Indonesian representative lost 0-3 at Lach Tray and drew 1-1 in the match in Indonesia.

In the last 5 times facing V-League clubs, PSM Makassar won 2, drew 1, and lost 2. The Indonesian representative is the right opponent for CAHN Club to think about in the final of the Southeast Asian Club Cup.
