At the beginning of the new year, the Prime Minister and farmers planted rice and harvested carrots.

Accompanying the Prime Minister were Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Le Minh Hoan, Hai Duong Provincial Party Secretary Tran Duc Thang, and leaders of ministries, branches, and localities.

After listening to the report on the production situation and the application of mechanization in rice cultivation, the model of applying high-tech agriculture in rice production (footprint-free fields) in Hai Duong, the Prime Minister directly sat on the rice transplanter to control the rice transplanting in the field.

Next, the Prime Minister and the delegation visited the carrot production area for export; visited Duc Chinh Cooperative, carrot processing and packaging facility and cut the ribbon to congratulate the export of the first batch of carrots of the Spring of Giap Thin in Duc Chinh commune, Cam Giang district.

After listening to a report on carrot production and consumption, the Prime Minister harvested carrots with farmers and talked and encouraged them at the carrot harvesting area.
