Promoting Vietnam-Greece business connections in the agricultural sector

Recently, at the Vietnamese Embassy in Greece, Ambassador Pham Thi Thu Huong received Mr. Moschos Korasidis, Executive Director of the Greek National Association for Agricultural Cooperation (ETHEAS) to discuss cooperation in the field of agricultural products.

Ambassador Pham Thi Thu Huong said that through a survey at the Greek Food Expo 2025, a number of Vietnamese products were displayed and introduced at the Fair, including basa fish, cashew nuts, and Vifon products. She hopes that ETHEAS will support strengthening the connection between member businesses and Vietnamese partners so that more Vietnamese goods can be present in Greece and vice versa.

In addition, the Ambassador also asked ETHEAS to support connecting Vietnamese workers to work at factories and agricultural product processing facilities in Greece.

Ambassador Pham Thi Thu Huong visited the booth and met with the Director of Market Development and Finance, Tan Viet International Company, the company distributing Vifon products in Europe.

Founded in 1935, ETHEAS is the largest agricultural association in Greece, with more than 300 members, including representatives of local agricultural associations and businesses operating in the agricultural and agro-processing sectors. The association plays a coordinating role among cooperative organizations in Greece, while supporting, promoting activities and representing members in international cooperation.

Therefore, the cooperation between ETHEAS and its members with Vietnamese enterprises will contribute to promoting agricultural cooperation between the two countries - an important field for both Vietnam and Greece.

Ambassador Pham Thi Thu Huong met with Mr. Andreas Dimitriou, Chairman of Pindos company.

With the support of the Embassy, ​​within the framework of the visit to Vietnam from March 17, the business delegation of ETHEAS and its member company Pindos, one of the largest poultry product processing companies in Greece, headquartered in Ioannia province, Northwestern Greece with 500 poultry farming households, will have a working session with the Vietnam Association of Small and Medium Enterprises to promote the import and export of agricultural products and poultry products.
