Deployed from 2024, expected to be completed in 2025, the project to renovate and upgrade National Highway 279 is 8.1km long, starting at the intersection with National Highway 18, Quang Hanh Ward section, and ending at Dong La intersection. The road is designed with a scale of 6 lanes, with a total investment of more than 1,800 billion VND.

After more than a year of construction, the Dien Vong bridge expansion project has now completed the construction of the entire main structure.

The underground system has been basically reinforced, ensuring technical safety conditions.

The overpass at the National Highway 18 intersection has completed precasting of I and super T girders; the scope of branch bridge 2 has completed construction of 4/10 bored piles, and completed concrete construction of the bridge deck of the main bridge's 5th span.

Contractors have completed casting beams for the construction of the National Highway 18 overpass.

At the roadbed locations, taking advantage of favorable sunny weather, contractors are focusing on human resources and equipment to speed up the construction of roadbed embankment.

Some remaining items such as excavation and lowering of roadbed at the top of Quang Hanh slope are also actively implemented.
