TPO - Currently, the construction project of Hanoi Children's Hospital is in the process of completion. Of which, the construction and plastering work is about 95% complete, the tiling work is 15% complete and the mechanical and electrical system is about 35%.

The Hanoi Children's Hospital construction project phase 1 includes a 6-storey main building, 1 basement with a total floor area of ​​approximately 34,364m2.

Items in phase I include: Outpatient examination and treatment block; paraclinical technical block; administrative and logistics block according to hospital capacity scale and usage needs; inpatient treatment block (200 beds); procurement and installation of construction equipment for construction items.

Up to now, the project has completed the rough part and is currently carrying out the finishing work. The project management board continues to urge the relevant units to deploy construction and install equipment to complete the project to ensure safety, quality and progress.

It is known that the project has registered to put up an inauguration sign to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Capital Liberation Day (October 10, 1954 - October 10, 2024).

At the working session with the Project Management Board in early April 2024, Vice Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee Vu Thu Ha requested relevant units to speed up the progress as much as possible. At the same time, the Hanoi Department of Health was assigned to review all contents related to the Hospital's operational apparatus and begin research on phase 2 of the project.

When the project is completed and put into operation, it will contribute to reducing the density and number of pediatric beds for general hospitals in Hanoi's inner city.

The project to build Hanoi Children's Hospital Phase 1 (Yen Nghia Ward, Ha Dong District, Hanoi) started at the end of February 2022. This is a Grade 1 Children's Hospital, established under Decision No. 1646/QD-UBND dated April 11, 2016 of the Hanoi People's Committee.

According to the Hanoi City Civil Construction Investment Project Management Board, phase 1 includes a 6-storey main building, 1 basement with a total floor area of ​​about 34,364 square meters.

Up to now, the project has completed the rough part and is currently carrying out finishing work. Specifically, the construction and plastering work is about 95% complete; the tiling work is about 15% complete; the mechanical and electrical systems are about 35% complete;

In addition, imported equipment includes medical equipment, elevators, low voltage, indoor pumps, heat pumps, hot water tanks, and hot water systems. The remaining equipment has been ordered by the contractor and will be delivered according to the committed schedule.

It is expected that to ensure the departments and rooms operate, the hospital's staff will be 109 people.
