The People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City has just reported on the implementation of Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW of the Politburo and Resolution No. 71/NQ-CP of the Government.

Ho Chi Minh City focuses on restructuring the development space through planning and shaping 9 strategically concentrated Digital Technology Zones (total area of ​​about 356 hectares) to operate synchronously. Piloting the co-investment sandbox mechanism

Also in the report, the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee proposed that the Government and the Prime Minister allow a pilot co-investment sandbox mechanism, in which the city co-invests with Ho Chi Minh City National University and local universities to build shared infrastructure (R&D laboratories, AI computing infrastructure, etc.), and build new technology testing areas.

Besides, it is recommended that the Government soon issue the Low-level Economic Development Project to create conditions for Ho Chi Minh City to implement the low-level economic development model.
