Summer is a time for students to rest after a year of studying. But for many parents, this is the most challenging time, as they have to balance work with worrying about childcare for their young children. Understanding these concerns, the teachers at Hoa Sen Kindergarten (Dai Phuc commune) volunteer to continue their work to share the burden with these families.

Hoa Sen Kindergarten regularly organizes many lively activities that suit children's interests.

"We don't want anyone to have to quit their job or face difficulties in production because they don't have someone to look after their children. So, if parents need us, we will be there," shared Ms. Nguyen Le Thu, Principal of Hoa Sen Kindergarten, in a simple manner.

Going beyond simply "babysitting," the summer program designed by the teachers at Hoa Sen Kindergarten has a clear plan, closely following the preschool education curriculum but with a lighter approach, suitable for the age group and the summer climate. From children as young as 18 months old to 5 years old, all participate in learning and experiential activities grouped by age in a scientific and flexible manner.

The highlight of the summer classes is the diverse range of experiential activities, such as: learning life skills (communication, self-care, problem-solving...), getting acquainted with English, learning dance, creative painting, playing football... The classroom space is also flexibly changed by the teachers to create a fresh feeling, helping children to be enthusiastic about coming to school every day.

The teachers at Hoa Sen Kindergarten are dedicated to guiding and caring for the children.

"It's hard work, of course. But when I see the children happy and safe, and the parents feel at ease, it's all worth it," shared Ms. Le Thi Thuy, teacher of kindergarten class 4TA2.

A major plus for the summer program is the meticulous attention to nutrition. The school uses nutrition software to create summer menus that are rich in vegetables and fruits, balanced in all nutrient groups, and suitable for the children's physical condition and developmental needs.

All food supplies are carefully controlled to ensure the highest level of food safety and hygiene. 100% of children eat lunch at school; their health is monitored using growth charts and is measured four times a year.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Ngoc Ngan, residing in Son Tap 3 residential area, Dai Phuc commune, said: "Both my husband and I work as factory workers more than 20km from home, and we live far from our grandparents, so at the beginning of the summer vacation, I had to take two weeks off to stay home and look after my two young children. Luckily, I was able to send them to school so I could work with peace of mind. The cost of their education isn't high, and they are cared for and educated in a safe environment, so I feel very reassured."

Hoa Sen Kindergarten currently has 28 staff and teachers. Of these, 88.5% of the teachers have qualifications above the standard level; 100% of the staff and teachers have actively participated in regular professional development and training. This high-quality staff is the foundation for the school to effectively organize flexible programs such as summer classes.

In addition to professional activities, the school also organizes many beneficial events and playgrounds, such as "English Golden Bell Challenge," "Young Children's Health Festival," "English Day," etc. These contribute to developing skills, abilities, and self-confidence in children from preschool age.
