Unlike traditional exhibitions, in accordance with Plan No. 217 dated August 15, 2025, of the Provincial People's Committee on organizing the 6th Provincial Emulation Congress, the Department of Internal Affairs is organizing an online archival document exhibition with the theme: " Lang Son through the Emulation Congresses". This exhibition offers the public a new and modern experience. Visitors can access the exhibition via the link https://trienlamdaihoithidua.langson.gov.vn.
Through the online platform, viewers can access information anytime, anywhere, to learn about the historical milestones and patriotic achievements of the province throughout different periods.
Ms. Mac Thi Cuc, Director of the Provincial Historical Archives Center, Department of Internal Affairs, said: "To prepare well for this exhibition, we have selected and collected typical documents, materials, images, and quotations currently stored at the Provincial Historical Archives Center, the National Archives Center III, and from many sources of agencies, organizations, and individuals. This digital archival document exhibition, serving the Provincial Emulation Congress, aims to widely disseminate and educate cadres, Party members, and the people about the historical and cultural traditions, the spirit of patriotic emulation, and the strength of great unity of the Party Committee, government, and people of all ethnic groups in the province."
Accordingly, the exhibition is structured into 8 display sections divided into 4 spaces, featuring over 175 documents, images, and representative quotes. The display sections include President Ho Chi Minh's call for patriotic emulation in 1948; the 1st to 5th Patriotic Emulation Congresses of Lang Son province, covering the period 2000-2020; the patriotic emulation movement for the period 2020-2025, and future orientations and aspirations. In addition, the exhibition also showcases important achievements and results in the implementation of economic and social development tasks, and ensuring national defense and security. Furthermore, the public can also watch a documentary film about the patriotic emulation movement in the province.
Each exhibit section of the exhibition is set within a typical Lang Son landscape, such as the monument grounds of Comrade Hoang Van Thu (Luong Van Tri ward); the Mac Dynasty citadel (Tam Thanh ward); and the Phai Ve flagpole (Dong Kinh ward).
Each section of the exhibition tells a vivid story, illustrated with valuable archival documents, images, texts, commendation decisions, articles, manuscripts, and numerous digitized artifacts. Thanks to the application of information technology, viewers can not only read the documents but also zoom in, interact, listen to explanations, or watch documentary clips.
In the context of digital transformation, organizing online exhibitions of archival documents is a practical and trend-aligned step. Not only does it save costs and enhance convenience, but the exhibition also contributes to modernizing the dissemination and education of traditional values. At the same time, it is an effective way to preserve and promote the value of archival documents – the "historical witnesses" of the patriotic emulation movement.
The online exhibition "Lang Son Through the National Emulation Congresses" is not only an activity with profound political and social significance, but also a space to inspire and spread President Ho Chi Minh's ideology of patriotic emulation to a wide range of people. At the same time, it contributes to preserving and promoting the value of archival documents.
