Dien Bien Dong ranks second in the province in terms of housing progress for poor households.

Dien Bien Dong District - Implementing the housing program for poor households, as of September 28th, Dien Bien Dong district has completed 482 out of 574 houses, achieving 84% of the assigned plan. Of these, 179 houses have been completed and 303 are under construction (88 houses are being leveled and foundation laid, 168 houses are having their frames and walls built, and 47 houses are having their roofs completed). The completed houses all meet the requirements of the "three solid" criteria (solid structure, solid construction, solid area, etc.). Notably, many households have borrowed policy credit from the Social Policy Bank and mobilized matching resources to build spacious and sturdy houses.
