Actor Thuong Tin stays in Phan Rang but still 'skips eating and sleeping'

Musician To Hieu told VietNamNet reporter that after returning home to celebrate Tet since the end of January, actor Thuong Tin chose to stay in Phan Rang, Ninh Thuan to enjoy his old age.

Previously, Thuong Tin and his elderly mother were cared for and raised by his younger sister who lived nearby. Now she is overloaded, and Thuong Tin's younger brother had to move from Phan Thiet City, Binh Thuan to Phan Rang to take care of his mother and brother.

Regarding health, during the most recent re-examination at the Orthopedic Trauma Hospital (District 5, Ho Chi Minh City) before Tet 2025, the doctor said that Thuong Tin's condition did not warrant surgery. Therefore, the actor accepted the reality and did not continue to treat his leg.

Although he listened to his family and stayed in his hometown to enjoy his old age, Thuong Tin still often misses life in Ho Chi Minh City.

"Thuong Tin's younger brother doesn't want him to hear my voice because it will make him sad and miss me, so he won't eat, stays up all night, and insists on going to Ho Chi Minh City. Recently, I've been very busy with work, afraid that I won't be able to take good care of him like before, so I have to keep it that way," To Hieu said.

Thuong Tin currently lives a contented life but is often sad and depressed. He eats little, sleeps little, and his life revolves around going in and out of the house or practicing walking with a four-legged cane. His relationship with his family is pleasant.

To Hieu shared that if things go well in the near future, he will take Thuong Tin on a trip or visit Ho Chi Minh City for a few months.

"Everything in Mr. Tin's room at my house is still in its original position, cleaned every day, ready for him to move in at any time," the musician said.
