At the conference, commune leaders reported on proposals to adjust and integrate commune planning with the Provincial Planning for the 2021-2030 period, with a vision to 2050, ensuring compliance with practical conditions and development requirements after administrative unit rearrangement. Ham Yen Commune proposed to add plans, lists of works and projects to the Provincial Planning such as developing the commune center towards the criteria of a type IV urban area, with a vision to 2050 to meet the criteria of a type III urban area; investing in the construction of a central road to develop the commune center; building infrastructure for the Tan Thanh industrial cluster. Thai Son Commune proposed to upgrade roads in the area and expressway intersections. Binh Xa Commune proposed to adjust the planning on the basis of inheriting existing projects, orienting spatial development according to the criteria of an advanced new rural commune; adjusting the location of the commune's office building at a new location. Yen Nguyen Commune proposed to adjust the place name, continue to include it in the urban planning; research on planning for industrial clusters; planning of organic agricultural specialized areas; planning of Thac Lua eco-tourism area and embankment to prevent landslides on Lo river bank in Hop Long village...

Discussing at the Conference, delegates suggested that communes continue to research urban planning orientations and regional linkages; clearly identify potentials, advantages and development zoning.

Concluding the Conference, Comrade Nong Thi Bich Hue, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, emphasized the importance of planning work to create momentum and orientation for short-term and long-term development. She requested communes to urgently review and supplement the adjusted content according to the planning of sectors, fields and localities; update according to the results of Party congresses at all levels; prepare well for the working process with consulting units; establish working groups and clearly assign responsibilities to coordinate in providing records, documents and explaining related contents. In particular, communes with potential for agricultural development need to proactively propose planning for agricultural production areas applying high technology, according to organic standards... to help improve people's income and life.

The Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee also noted that communes need to re-evaluate issued plans and schemes, consider arranging functional subdivisions suitable to practical conditions; and integrate them into the province's general planning to maximize potential, create space and motivation for harmonious and reasonable development.
