Specifically, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Nam was transferred to work at the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Team, Ha Long City Police, and was assigned to the on-duty department.

Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Thanh Nam (in white shirt, circled in red) had inappropriate behavior towards people during a traffic collision.

Mr. Nguyen Thanh Nam was driving a car while drunk, driving in the wrong lane, causing a traffic collision, and behaving in a manner that lacked culture and ethical standards, threatening others in a public place on May 17, 2023.

Due to the above violations, on May 22, the Ha Long City Party Committee's Inspection Committee issued a disciplinary warning to Mr. Nguyen Thanh Nam.

According to the Inspection Committee of the Ha Long City Party Committee, the above actions of Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Thanh Nam have caused serious consequences, causing public outrage among cadres, party members and people; affecting the reputation of the Party organization, government, and unit where he lives and works; tarnishing the image of the People's Public Security soldier and damaging his own reputation.
