Investigating responsibility for the stage collapse at Miss Cosmo 2024

On September 29, District 11 Police coordinated with the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Construction to investigate the responsibilities of related units related to the stage collapse of the Miss Cosmo 2024 contest.

Previously, on the afternoon of September 28, the stage lighting system set up in preparation for the Miss Cosmo 2024 contest ( Phu Tho Stadium, District 11) suddenly collapsed.

The incident left 3 people injured, who were taken to the hospital for treatment. The 3 victims' injuries were determined to be not too serious and they have been discharged from the hospital.

Upon receiving the news, District 11 Police quickly arrived at the scene to investigate the cause of the incident. The unit also coordinated with the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Construction to clarify the responsibilities of related units.

Miss Cosmo 2024 is an international beauty pageant organized by Vietnamese people for the first time, gathering more than 50 beauties from around the world . The stage collapse incident happened close to the semi-finals and finals.
