Delegates of the Reading Culture Ambassador Contest offer incense to pay tribute to the Hung Kings

On October 23, at the Hung Kings Temple Historical Site, the delegation of the 2024 Reading Culture Ambassador Contest led by Ms. Trinh Thi Thuy - Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism (MCST) held an incense offering ceremony to pay tribute to the Hung Kings.

Delegates of the Reading Culture Ambassador Contest offer incense to pay tribute to the Hung Kings Director of the Library Department (Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism), Head of the Organizing Committee of the Reading Culture Ambassador Contest Kieu Thuy Nga respectfully reported the outstanding results of the Contest in recent years.

The delegation included representatives of relevant ministries and branches; representatives of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of 63 provinces and cities across the country; universities, academies, high schools and outstanding collectives and individuals who won the National Finals of the 2024 Reading Culture Ambassador Contest.

The Reading Culture Ambassador Contest is an important event organized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism since 2019. After 4 years of organization, the Reading Culture Ambassador Contest has achieved many positive results, becoming a meaningful cultural playground, attracting millions of students across the country to participate. The contest has strongly spread the spirit of loving books and arousing a passion for reading, forming reading habits in the community, contributing to building a learning society. The contest also contributes to promoting the reading movement in schools, libraries, families and society, creating conditions for many outstanding individuals to promote their talents and inspire the community.

In a solemn and respectful atmosphere in front of Kinh Thien Palace on Nghia Linh Mountain, the delegates offered incense and flowers and expressed their deep gratitude for the great contributions of our ancestors who built and defended the country, and respectfully reported to the Hung Kings the outstanding results that the Contest has achieved in recent years. At the same time, they vowed to continue promoting the tradition of patriotism, the spirit of studiousness, striving to study and practice to contribute to building the homeland and the country to become increasingly prosperous.
