Oc Eo Commune Youth Union strives to achieve the criteria of "Drug-free commune" by 2030

On October 28, the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Oc Eo commune (An Giang province) held the 1st Congress of delegates for the 2025 - 2030 term.

The Party Executive Committee of Oc Eo commune presented the congress with a banner.

In the period of 2022 - 2025, Oc Eo Commune Youth Union has achieved many outstanding results: Effectively implementing the movements "Youth Volunteers", "Creative Youth", "Youth Volunteers to Protect the Fatherland"; implementing 6/6 youth projects; caring for and supporting hundreds of children in difficult circumstances, with a total budget of nearly 900 million VND.

With the slogan of action "Oc Eo Youth Pioneer - Solidarity - Courage - Creativity - Development", the congress set out a number of key targets for the new term: Strengthening education and reformation of youth to strive to achieve the criteria of "Drug-free commune" by 2030; Strive to carry out at least 5 youth projects and tasks associated with building a civilized, green, clean and beautiful urban area, including 2 projects to digitize red addresses and 3 youth projects to protect the environment. By 2030, 100% of youth in the commune will be equipped with basic digital knowledge and skills...

The Congress announced the decision of the Standing Committee of An Giang Provincial Youth Union to appoint 21 comrades to join the Executive Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Oc Eo commune, term 2025 - 2030; comrade Nguyen Ngoc Phuoc was appointed to hold the position of Secretary.
