FDI enterprises contribute greatly to the state budget.

Dong Nai province currently has nearly 2,200 foreign direct investment (FDI) enterprises in operation. Over the years, FDI enterprises have always played an important role in contributing to the province's state budget.

According to the 2025 state budget revenue estimate, domestic budget revenue in Dong Nai province is over 48.8 trillion VND. Of which, budget revenue from FDI enterprises accounts for over 28% of the province's total domestic budget revenue (estimated at over 13.7 trillion VND).

An important "piece" in the state budget revenue picture

The domestic state budget revenue is divided into 6 main revenue items including: revenue from central state-owned enterprises, local enterprises, FDI enterprises, non-state industrial and commercial taxes, real estate revenue and other revenue items. Among the 6 main revenue items, budget revenue from FDI enterprises has been an important "piece" in the picture of the province's state budget revenue over the past years.

Some FDI enterprises are among the top enterprises with large budget contributions to the province such as: CP Vietnam Livestock Joint Stock Company (CP Vietnam, Thailand); Ajinomoto Vietnam Co., Ltd. (Japan), TKG Teakwang Vina Vietnam Joint Stock Company (Korea), YKK Vietnam Co., Ltd. (Japan), HS Hyosung Vietnam Co., Ltd. (Korea)...

Not only in the top of the province, in recent years, CP Vietnam is one of the FDI enterprises that is regularly in the top list of the country in terms of tax payment to the State budget. Specifically, in the first 6 months of 2025, CP Vietnam contributed more than 1 trillion VND to the State budget of Dong Nai, leading the whole province in fulfilling its tax obligations to the State.

CP Vietnam General Director Pawalit Ua-Amornwanit said: Over the years, CP Vietnam has always strived to promote production and business activities according to an environmentally friendly model, applying modern science and technology, increasing economic value for the agricultural sector of Dong Nai province as well as the whole country. In addition to the goal of developing increasingly modern enterprises, CP Vietnam always complies with State regulations, including fulfilling the task of paying taxes to the State budget.

Mr. Pawalit Ua-Amornwanit affirmed: In the coming time, CP Vietnam will continue to promote the development of enterprises more strongly; strengthen cooperation with farms nationwide to distribute livestock products, providing a variety of goods such as: pork, chicken eggs, chicken meat, fresh fish, fish, fresh shrimp and processed shrimp... Ensuring job creation for workers, fulfilling tax obligations, contributing to the local socio-economic development.

Tax industry accompanies businesses

Assessing the compliance of FDI enterprises in paying state budget, Head of Enterprise Support Management Department 1, Dong Nai Province Tax Department Tran Quang Ninh said: Recently, the production and business activities of FDI enterprises have grown steadily. FDI enterprises have implemented tax policies well.

Dong Nai Provincial Tax Department actively disseminates and implements tax regulations related to FDI enterprises in tax management. Notably, issues related to tax policy implementation are of interest to many people such as: policies on tax extension and reduction; value added tax refund; tax declaration, tax obligation performance... Especially recently, the tax sector has paid attention to the management of value added tax refunds for FDI enterprises. This helps enterprises have a quick source of capital, creating conditions to promote production and business activities for enterprises. In addition to tax refunds, FDI enterprises are also supported in tax areas in the process of accessing new tax regulations and policies, ensuring that they do not affect the production and business activities of enterprises.

Sharing about the compliance with tax obligations as well as the direction and support for FDI enterprises in the coming time, Head of Tax Department of Dong Nai Province Nguyen Toan Thang commented: Dong Nai always attaches importance to and highly appreciates the compliance with tax obligations of FDI enterprises. In recent times, FDI enterprises have contributed more than 30% of total state budget revenue in all fields. This is one of the sustainable sources of revenue that Dong Nai province always focuses on, supports updating and implementing new policies; at the same time, strengthens inspection and combats state budget losses; pays special attention to issues related to anti-transfer pricing, tax refunds as well as other tax policies.

According to Dong Nai Provincial Tax Department, in the first 8 months of 2025, the province's domestic budget revenue reached over 42 trillion VND, reaching 86% of the annual ordinance estimate and increasing by 30% over the same period in 2024. Of which, revenue from FDI enterprises reached over 12.4 trillion VND, accounting for over 33% of total revenue in the first 8 months of 2025.

In addition, Mr. Nguyen Toan Thang emphasized: Dong Nai currently has nearly 2,200 FDI enterprises operating in production and business. In order to make tax management more effective and make it easier for enterprises to implement tax policies, the tax sector is implementing solutions to upgrade tax management infrastructure, promote and support taxpayers to strictly implement tax regulations, promote digital transformation in the tax sector such as: electronic invoices, install eTax Mobile tax application; consulting and guiding the implementation of online tax policies... In addition, every year, the tax sector also maintains dialogues with taxpayers to promptly grasp difficulties and problems, and work with enterprises to find ways to resolve them; organize commendations for enterprises that have implemented tax policies and laws well...
