According to the report of the Party Committee of the Central Business Bloc, since the beginning of the term, the Party Committee of the Bloc and the Party committees at all levels within the Bloc's Party organization have proactively led and issued many resolutions, directives, and conclusions in line with practical requirements; promptly led and directed enterprises to focus on implementing comprehensively and effectively all aspects of Party building work and carrying out political tasks and production and business activities.

The total revenue of the corporations and companies within the Group all showed growth, from 1.4 trillion VND to over 2 trillion VND (an increase of over 42%); pre-tax profit increased from 123 trillion VND to nearly 200 trillion VND (an increase of 61%); tax contributions to the state budget increased from 220 trillion VND to over 242 trillion VND (an increase of 10%); and social welfare activities totaled over 10 trillion VND…

Speaking at the meeting, Comrade Luong Cuong acknowledged the achievements of the Party Committee of the Bloc since the beginning of the term, with a focus on the first six months of 2024. He emphasized that the Party Committee of the Bloc is a unique model of party organization, lacking a corresponding government authority; it does not directly assign targets or direct production and business activities; it presides over the approval of Party committee personnel matters according to the decentralization of authority and only coordinates with the owning agency to provide input when the competent authority decides on the personnel matters of leadership and management of enterprises within the Bloc.

Based on these characteristics, the comrade requested that the Party Committee of the Central State-Owned Enterprises Bloc continue to focus on firmly grasping the functions, tasks, powers, and relationships of the Bloc's Party Committee and its subordinate Party committees; innovate leadership methods, and improve the quality of leadership of Party committees and organizations at all levels in accordance with current regulations and in line with the practical situation and specific characteristics of the State-Owned Enterprises Bloc. In particular, emphasis should be placed on strengthening political education , unifying understanding of the position and role of state-owned enterprises, the responsibilities of each cadre, civil servant, Party member, and worker, and improving production and business efficiency.

The comrade also noted that the Party Committee of the Bloc and its affiliated Party organizations should continue to implement the basic principles of Party organization and operation, namely: democratic centralism within the Party; self-criticism and criticism; unity and solidarity; close ties with the people; and the Party operating within the framework of the Constitution and laws.

The Party Committee of the Bloc and the Party committees at all levels organized the dissemination and concretization of Directive No. 35-CT/TW of the Politburo on Party congresses at all levels leading up to the 14th National Congress of the Party; issued a plan for organizing congresses at all levels, leading up to the 4th Party Congress of the Bloc, term 2025-2030 and the 14th National Congress of the Party; launched a campaign to strive to complete and exceed the targets set forth in the resolutions of the Party congresses at all levels for the 2020-2025 term...
