The Vietnamese women's team entered the match against the Bangladesh women's team with many personnel adjustments. Young players Tran Thi Duyen, Tran Thi Hai Linh, Nguyen Thi Hoa, Nguyen Thi Thanh Nha, and Ngan Thi Van Su were trusted to increase the attacking front.

Coach Mai Duc Chung's calculation soon came into effect when the Vietnamese women's team scored a goal in the 5th minute. From a pass from Tran Thi Duyen, captain Pham Hai Yen accurately finished to open the score for the Vietnamese women's team.

With the first goal, the players played comfortably, completely controlling the game on the field. However, the attacks of the red team lacked a bit of sharpness to be able to convert into goals.

In the 34th minute, Nguyen Thi Thuy Hang ran down and flicked the ball over the head of the Bangladesh goalkeeper, putting the Vietnamese women's team ahead 2-0.

In the second half, coach Mai Duc Chung's players continued to increase the pressure and continuously scored against their opponents. In the 65th minute, Tran Thi Duyen marked a successful match day when she scored herself to raise the score to 3-0 with an accurate close-range shot.

Not stopping there, the Vietnamese women's team scored consecutive goals. In the 71st minute, Bich Thuy's beautiful free kick raised the score to 4-0. Seven minutes later, it was Thai Thi Thao's turn to shoot from a powerful distance, widening the gap to 5 goals. By the 80th minute, the score was 6-0 for the Vietnamese women's team. Bich Thuy scored the second goal of the match with a close-range header from a corner kick.

In the final minutes, Bangladesh played with determination and got an honorable goal in the 87th minute from the 11m mark by Parvin Masura.

The victory over Bangladesh helped the Vietnamese women's team gain 6 points (goal difference +7), temporarily surpassing the Japanese women's team to top Group D of Women's Football. In the final match, coach Mai Duc Chung and his team will meet the Japanese women's team - the reigning champions of ASIAD 19. This will be an extremely difficult match for the Vietnamese women's team./.
