Vietnam women's futsal team defeated China

VHO - The Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) said that the Vietnamese women's Futsal team won 2-1 against the Chinese women's Futsal team in the second friendly match in Hangzhou (China), during the training trip to prepare for the 33rd SEA Games, which took place on the afternoon of December 2.

After the first friendly match on November 30 ended in a 2-2 draw, coach Nguyen Dinh Hoang and his team entered the rematch determined to improve the result. The Vietnamese women's futsal team entered the match confidently and quickly created dangerous opportunities.

In the 19th minute, player Bui Thi Trang scored accurately to open the score. Right at the beginning of the second half, Thanh Ngan took advantage of the opponent's mistake to raise the score to 2-0 for Vietnam.

The Chinese women's Futsal team tried to attack and scored a goal to reduce the score to 1-2 in the 33rd minute, but that was all the home team could do.

The 2-1 victory helped the Vietnamese women's Futsal team conclude their short training session with many positive signs, especially improvements in playing style and ability to take advantage of opportunities.

Evaluating the players in the rematch, head coach Nguyen Dinh Hoang said the whole team had a better rhythm of the match, and executed the team's general play and the coaching staff's intentions relatively well. "We controlled the game well and the moments in the game well. There are still some details we need to improve."

According to plan, the team will have their last training session in Hangzhou tomorrow morning (December 3) and return to Ho Chi Minh City that evening.

The team will train for 1 week in Ho Chi Minh City to perfect the issues as well as correct some tactical content that was not done well in the training session in China, before leaving for Thailand to attend the 33rd SEA Games.
