As one of the earliest beneficiaries of the policy, Mr. Sung A Cho’s family in Noong Thang village still remembers clearly the moment they received the support of breeding cows. During the most difficult time of life, with 6 mouths to feed depending only on a few fields, the breeding cow provided by the State opened up a new direction for economic development, helping the family have the means of production to escape poverty.

Thanks to the support of breeding cows, Mr. Cho's family has accumulated capital and proactively invested in expanding the production model, growing high-quality rice, raising chickens and ducks; and buying machinery to serve agricultural production.

Family life has improved significantly, the children have stable education. Currently, his family has escaped poverty.

Not only Mr. Cho's family, in the period of 2021 - 2025, many poor households in Noong Thang village were also supported with breeding cows and plows with a total value of nearly 200 million VND. The introduction of mechanization into production has helped reduce manual labor, shorten the time for land preparation and significantly increase production efficiency. Many households affirmed that thanks to plows, the time for land preparation has been reduced from several days to just 1 session, helping to ensure the planting season and reduce labor costs.

It is known that in the period of 2021 - 2025, Muong Than commune has been allocated more than 20 billion VND to invest in a series of essential infrastructure projects. In particular, items such as: decentralized domestic water system, tractors for production, repair and construction of new cultural institutions, and works serving the community are prioritized for implementation.

This synchronous investment has significantly changed the rural appearance of the commune. Internal roads have been upgraded, creating favorable conditions for travel and exchange of goods. Village cultural houses have been repaired and upgraded to be more spacious, becoming places to organize community activities and cultural activities, contributing to preserving and promoting the cultural identity of ethnic minorities in the area.

Along with infrastructure investment, Muong Than commune also implements practical support policies for people such as: support for production land, support for housing loans, investment in internal roads for production... These items not only help people stabilize their lives, but also create a foundation for them to proactively develop sustainable livelihoods, contributing to multidimensional poverty reduction.

Thanks to the synchronous participation of all levels, many support programs have shown remarkable effectiveness. Up to now, the average income per capita in Muong Than commune has reached 49.5 million VND/year, the poverty rate has decreased to 5.05%. People's lives have gradually stabilized and improved.

It can be affirmed that the National Target Program on Socio-Economic Development of Ethnic Minority and Mountainous Areas, Phase 1 (2021 - 2025) has become an important driving force, contributing to changing the face of ethnic minority areas in Muong Than commune in particular and the whole province in general. These positive changes continue to create a foundation for the locality to develop sustainably, towards the goal of building Muong Than to be increasingly rich, beautiful and civilized.
