Trusting the诱惑 (enticement) of a stranger on social media, a young girl in the mountainous district of Tuong Duong ( Nghe An province ) immediately took a bus to the North to work. Fortunately, the girl was discovered by her family and traffic police, and rescued in time.
On December 7th, Team 2 of the Road Traffic Police Department, Nghe An Provincial Police, announced that they had successfully rescued a young woman who had been lured away by someone on social media, in coordination with a family.
Earlier, at around 6:30 PM yesterday (December 6th), Road Traffic Police Team No. 2 received a report from a family in Thach Giam town (Tuong Duong district) about a young girl being lured away from home to Hai Phong to work by a stranger on social media.
Suspecting it was a scam or human trafficking operation, the family quickly reported it to the authorities.
Upon receiving the report, Road Traffic Police Team No. 2 quickly launched an investigation.
At 9 PM on the same day, at kilometer 28 of National Highway 7, traffic police officers intercepted and inspected a passenger bus with license plate 15B-038.xx driven by Mr. Tran Quang Tr. (born in 1978, residing in Thai Binh ).
Upon inspection, police discovered a 14-year-old girl named VMT (residing in Tuong Duong district) in the vehicle, confirming that her family had run away from home.
The traffic police officer then discussed and explained to T. the tactics and harmful consequences of human trafficking. T. understood the issue and was safely returned home by her family.
