Looking further ahead, from the night of March 9th to 17th, the meteorological agency stated that as the cold air mass weakens, drizzle and humid conditions will reappear in the Northeast region of Vietnam.

Specifically, during this period, from the night of March 9th to 13th, the Northwest and North Central regions of Vietnam will experience scattered rain, with fog and light mist in the early mornings, and sunny weather in the afternoons. Around March 14th-15th, there is a possibility of scattered rain and showers, with thunderstorms in some areas; from March 16th onwards, there will be scattered rain.

Meanwhile, in the Northeast region, from the night of March 9th to 13th, there will be scattered light rain, drizzle, and fog during the night and morning. Around March 14th-15th, there is a possibility of scattered rain and showers, with thunderstorms in some areas; from March 16th onwards, there will be rain in a few places.

The area from Quang Binh to Khanh Hoa will experience scattered rain and showers on the night of March 9th and the day of March 10th; after the evening and night, there will be scattered showers and thunderstorms in some places, with sunny days.

According to Mr. Lam, localized heatwaves may occur in the Northwest region of Vietnam in April. The North and Central regions of Vietnam will also experience a return of heatwaves during this period.

Specifically for the Southern region, March sees many days of intense heat that extends into April, before the return of rain due to the southwest monsoon around mid-May.
