In the atmosphere of the first days of the new year, comrade Vu Dai Thang, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee visited, encouraged and wished a happy new year to the staff and workers of Quang Ninh Thermal Power Joint Stock Company.
Quang Ninh Thermal Power Joint Stock Company currently manages and operates Quang Ninh Thermal Power Plant, which consists of 4 units with a total capacity of 1,200 MW. The company's average annual electricity output is about 7.5 billion kWh; revenue is more than 11,000 billion VND; ensuring regular jobs and stable income for more than 800 employees. During the Lunar New Year 2025, the Company has arranged enough staff to operate the units and is ready for power generation in the dry season of 2025.
Visiting and wishing a Happy New Year to the staff and workers of Quang Ninh Thermal Power Joint Stock Company, comrade Vu Dai Thang, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, praised the efforts of Quang Ninh Thermal Power Joint Stock Company in production and business activities, contributing to providing stable electricity for the economy and ensuring national energy security.
On the occasion of the New Year, he sent his best wishes to all the company's staff, workers and their families. He hoped that in the coming time, the company would promote the achieved results, continue to complete its production and business tasks well; ensure jobs and income for workers; and make positive contributions to the overall development of the province.
The Provincial Party Secretary also emphasized that Quang Ninh is currently implementing a green transformation and energy transformation roadmap, in which one of the important solutions identified by the province is technology conversion for coal-fired thermal power plants. He asked the company to accompany the province in implementing this roadmap, contributing to the country's goal of Net Zero by 2050.
