On the morning of April 29th, on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of Southern Vietnam and the reunification of the country (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025), Comrade Vu Dai Thang, Member of the Central Committee of the Party, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, and Head of the Provincial Delegation of National Assembly Deputies, along with a delegation from the province, visited and presented gifts to Heroic Vietnamese Mother Pham Thi Chuyen in Dai Yen Ward, Ha Long City.
Heroic Vietnamese Mother Pham Thi Chuyen (90 years old) has two sons who were martyrs, sacrificing their lives in the Southwestern border war and the Northern border war in 1979.
Expressing heartfelt concern for the health of the Mother and her family, Comrade Vu Dai Thang, Member of the Central Committee of the Party, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, and Head of the Provincial Delegation of National Assembly Deputies, expressed gratitude for the noble sacrifices and great contributions of the Mother and her family to the cause of national liberation and reunification.
At the same time, it was affirmed that the Party and the State in general, and Quang Ninh province in particular, always cherish and appreciate the great contributions of the Heroic Vietnamese Mothers and families of those who rendered meritorious services to the nation's revolutionary cause. The contributions and sacrifices of the Mothers and their families have allowed future generations to live in peace and enjoy a better life.
Presenting gifts to Mrs. Pham Thi Chuyen, Provincial Party Secretary Vu Dai Thang expressed his wish for her continued good health, happiness, longevity, and to remain a shining example for her descendants. He also urged local Party committees and authorities to take concrete and practical actions to care for Mrs. Chuyen and other families of war heroes and policy beneficiaries, demonstrating profound gratitude to those who have made immense contributions to the national liberation, construction, and defense of the country, thereby contributing to social welfare and further nurturing the nation's tradition of remembering those who have served.
