Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Le Van Hieu and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Ngoc Chau presented decisions and flowers to congratulate the leaders of the Department of Construction.

On the morning of February 20, Hai Duong province announced decisions on reorganizing the apparatus of specialized agencies under the Provincial People's Committee and personnel work.

Comrade Nguyen Hoai Long, former Director of the Department of Construction, was appointed to the position of Director of the Department of Construction when merging the Department of Construction and the Department of Transport into the Department of Construction.

Comrade Nguyen Van Doan, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Director of the Department of Transport was mobilized and appointed by the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee to hold the position of Deputy Head of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Committee.

The new Department of Construction has 5 deputy directors, namely: Nguyen Trong Hai, Vu Minh Nghia, Pham Cuu Long (3 Deputy Directors of the Department of Construction); Vu Duc Hanh, Bui Xuan Hai (2 Deputy Directors of the Department of Transport).

The Department of Construction has the function and duty of performing the state management function in the sector and field assigned to the Department of Construction and the Department of Transport before merging and transferring the task of testing and granting road motor vehicle driving licenses from the Department of Transport to the Provincial Police.

Regarding the organizational structure, the department has 7 specialized departments, 1 department less than before the arrangement and streamlining.

The staff after merging the two departments is 93 people, including 52 existing staff of the Department of Transport and 41 existing staff of the Department of Construction.
