At the meeting, representatives of the Party Committees of the two wards briefly reported on the results of leadership, direction, administration and the implementation of local activities in recent times.

Accordingly, in Dien Hong ward, in 10 months, the socio -economic situation of the ward has developed steadily, industrial production - handicrafts, trade - services have grown quite well. The growth rate of product value reached 9.88%. Total retail sales of goods and consumer service revenue reached 4,202/6,203 billion VND, reaching 67.7% of the 2025 plan.

Dien Hong Ward currently has about 3,900 individual businesses and 860 enterprises (mainly micro-enterprises) with 4,600 employees, accounting for 14.58% of the working-age population. Enterprises contribute about 97 billion VND to the state budget (from January 1, 2025 to present).

Total state budget revenue from the beginning of 2025 to now has reached 245.6 billion VND/58,130 billion VND, equal to 422% of the plan. Particularly, from July 1, 2025 to now, budget revenue has reached 129,135 billion VND/58,130 billion VND, equivalent to 222.15% of the plan. Social security policies have been fully and promptly implemented. After the merger, the whole ward still has 03 poor households (0.02%) and 22 near-poor households (0.15%). Military recruitment in 2025 completed 38/38 targets (100%); training of on-site militia and mobile militia reached 100% of the plan.

From July 1, 2025 to October 28, 2025, the Ward Public Administration Service Center received and processed 4,600/4,852 records (4,091 records online, 761 records directly). Of which, 4,023 records were processed on time, 577 records were late, accounting for 12.5%. The Center also received 3,105 records in the land sector (under the authority of the Provincial Land Registration Office, Pleiku Branch) and 570 records in the business sector, business households submitted via the National Business Registration Information System.

In addition to the achieved results, the ward still has some difficulties and problems: The situation of late documents still exists, mainly in the land sector; Disbursement of public investment capital is difficult due to lack of capital arrangement; prolonged rainy weather affects the construction progress of some projects... The leaders of Dien Hong ward requested the Provincial People's Committee, the Department of Construction, and the Department of Finance to consider and implement the Tran Can and Le Thanh Ton Road Project (section from the Provincial Political School to the Forestry School) to facilitate traffic and connection for socio-economic development between Hoi Phu and Dien Hong wards and Gao commune. Requested the Provincial People's Committee, the Department of Industry and Trade, and the Department of Finance to support 23.5 billion VND to repair and upgrade the Ward Trade Center.

In recent times, the economy, culture - society , political security and social order and safety in Pleiku ward have continued to have many positive changes. Industrial production - small-scale industry, trade - services have maintained a good growth rate, affirming their important role in local economic development.

Total state budget revenue as of October 14, 2025 reached VND 202,644 billion, equal to 238.6% of the plan assigned by the province and 249% of the Resolution of the Ward People's Council. Currently, the ward has 6 poor households and 20 near-poor households, striving to reduce 2 more poor households by the end of 2025. Public investment projects are being implemented with attention; planning, compensation, and site clearance work are focused on, ensuring the progress of projects such as CK54 Urban Area, Iron Bridge, etc.

From July 1 to October 30, 2025, the Ward Public Administration Service Center received 13,236 records, processed and returned results for 12,743 records, and 493 records are being processed. The work of building e-government and digital government has been effectively implemented; administrative reform indicators have been maintained and continued to be improved. The reception and settlement of people's feedback and recommendations are ensured in accordance with regulations. The fields of education - training, health care, and social security continue to receive attention. The work of caring for and supporting poor households, near-poor households, and policy families has been promptly implemented; subsidies for meritorious people, social protection, and social retirement have been fully implemented in accordance with regulations.

The leaders of Pleiku Ward Party Committee proposed that the Provincial People's Committee consider revoking Decision No. 627/QD-UBND dated September 22, 2021 on approving the investment policy, and at the same time approve the Ward People's Committee to implement the land fund development project, creating resources for socio-economic development. To ensure land fund development and proactively arrange resettlement areas, Pleiku Ward People's Committee requested the Department of Natural Resources and Environment and the Gia Lai Provincial Land Fund Development Center to hand over the land funds currently managed in the area to the ward for direct management and carry out procedures in accordance with regulations. At the same time, the Provincial People's Committee Office, the Department of Science and Technology, in coordination with VNPT Gia Lai, are requested to continue upgrading the Gia Lai Provincial Electronic One-Stop Information System to ensure stable operation and effectively serve the reception and settlement of administrative procedures.

Speaking at the meeting, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Huu Que assessed: After the merger, Pleiku ward and Dien Hong ward have many favorable conditions for socio-economic development. He suggested that the two wards comprehensively innovate their thinking, leadership, direction and management methods, in order to promote the potential and advantages of the locality.

The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested the wards to closely follow the direction of the Central Government and the province in implementing socio-economic development tasks; strictly implement administrative discipline and order, serve the people with the motto "do all the work, not all the hours". In the process of operating the two-level government, the grassroots government needs to be close to the people, listen and promptly resolve problems arising from practice.

He also requested localities to review and adjust planning to ensure harmony and rationality, and reserve land for trees and public spaces, contributing to improving the landscape and promoting tourism development. In addition, it is necessary to strengthen coordination and information exchange, proactively remove difficulties and obstacles, and boldly propose to eliminate unreasonable planning, avoiding the situation of "suspended" planning that affects people's lives and business activities.

Regarding the prevention and response to storm Kalmaegi, to minimize damage caused by natural disasters, he requested that wards thoroughly grasp the direction of the Provincial Party Committee and Provincial People's Committee to develop plans, establish steering committees, and mobilize forces to deal with this storm.

In particular, it is necessary to review, promote propaganda, mobilize, and persuade people in areas at risk of flooding, landslides, and evacuate to safe places. Along with that, review and re-evaluate the current state of trees in the area to recommend and propose to management agencies to prune and handle dry trees at risk of breaking or falling. Closely monitor storm forecasts, warnings, and developments of rain and storms; provide timely and complete information to people to proactively prevent, respond, and minimize damage. Direct relevant agencies to ensure domestic water and electricity for people. In particular, localities must review and pay attention to supporting poor households, disadvantaged households, and lonely elderly people with no place to rely on to ensure safety and stability in life. Standing Committees at all levels must assign cadres in charge of the area, closely follow the grassroots, grasp the situation, and promptly resolve arising problems. Along with that, assign tasks to comrades in the Standing Committee, leaders in the residential groups regularly monitor, grasp the situation and promptly handle situations that arise; temporarily suspend or limit meetings to focus on storm prevention and control work.

Regarding the Party building work, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Council requested the wards to strengthen inspection and supervision to prevent violations. At the same time, the wards must organize, arrange and reorganize positions according to titles and key positions, arrange specialized departments appropriately, scientifically and with inspection and monitoring. The Party Committee needs to pay attention and create conditions for cadres and party members to participate in training courses and update knowledge to meet the requirements of tasks in the new situation.

Regarding the socio-economic development tasks of the wards in the coming time, he suggested that localities continue to pay attention to, inspect and evaluate the operation of the Public Administration Service Center, and find ways to make the Center operate best, serving the people and businesses well.

Regarding specific projects in the two wards, the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee assigned the Provincial Party Committee Office to fully synthesize the contents and submit them to the Provincial People's Committee for consideration and specific responses. Local Party committees and authorities need to continue to promote a sense of responsibility, innovate working methods, clearly assign tasks, and regularly inspect and supervise./.
