In 2025, from the National Target Program for socio -economic development in ethnic minority and mountainous areas, giai đoạn 2021-2025 (Program 1719), Cuong Loi commune invested nearly 15 billion VND in building essential infrastructure, supporting housing construction, clean water, and supporting production development...
Of that amount, the commune allocated over 6.6 billion VND, accounting for the largest proportion of the total program capital, for the implementation of Project 4 - investment in essential infrastructure.
With these resources, the commune is implementing 18 infrastructure projects, including 5 ongoing projects and 13 newly started projects, focusing on rural transportation, irrigation, and the maintenance and repair of roads and canals in the fields.
A typical example is the Hang Keo concrete road in Na Tang village, which received nearly 700 million VND in government support. Villagers donated over 1,000 square meters of land and contributed labor to build embankments and level the road surface.
The comprehensively invested infrastructure not only serves the people's needs but also opens up opportunities for connecting production and promoting the development of a commodity-based economy in the area.
Alongside infrastructure investment, the commune also prioritizes housing and clean water support. In 2025, Cuong Loi commune will be allocated over 1.4 billion VND to support housing and clean water for poor and near-poor households.
Of these, 24 houses for particularly disadvantaged households have been supported with construction and repair, with a total disbursed budget of over 1 billion VND. These new, sturdy houses have replaced temporary and dilapidated ones, helping people have stable housing and feel secure in their work and production.
In addition, the commune has also implemented a program to support decentralized water supply, providing water tanks to 73 households. To date, nearly 100% of households have received water tanks and put them into use, contributing to solving the long-standing problem of water shortage during the dry season in many highland villages.

With access to clean water for daily use, the quality of life and health of the people, especially children and the elderly, improve significantly. This is a crucial foundation for sustainable poverty reduction and narrowing the development gap between mountainous and lowland areas.
Although some disbursement is still slow, and some sub-projects have not been implemented due to procedural obstacles, the results achieved in the fields of infrastructure and essential welfare have affirmed the effectiveness of Program 1719 in Cuong Loi commune in 2025.
This is especially significant given that the commune has just been merged, the organizational structure is undergoing many changes, the workload is heavy, and the geographical conditions are particularly challenging.
This is the sustainable driving force for Cuong Loi commune to develop its economy while improving the quality of life for its people, realizing the goals of Program 1719.
