Specifically, Dong Nai province believes that the above direction is necessary, but to ensure the legal basis, the province assigned the Department of Agriculture and Environment to preside over and work with the Department of Culture - Sports and Tourism, the Department of Justice, elephant conservation experts and relevant units to review, based on current legal regulations, actual living conditions of elephants, and the effectiveness of similar models in and outside the country. After that, the agencies will unify the content, advise and propose to the Provincial People's Committee to direct and handle according to regulations.

Previously, Dong Nai Cultural Nature Reserve had proposed the Provincial People's Committee to consider allowing this place to call for investors to implement elephant-watching tourism projects to create conditions for reinvestment and improvement of the elephant habitat in the area.
