The host invited Western guests to the wedding party.
In mid-November, the bride Van Anh (27 years old, from Lao Cai ) and groom Hai Doan (27 years old, from Thanh Hoa) held an engagement party at the bride's family's house.
The party was held at noon, with many relatives, family members and friends of the bride and groom coming to celebrate. While the wedding party was in full swing, two foreign guests passed by on bicycles.
At first glance, it seems like these are two tourists on a journey to experience the roads in Van Chan, Yen Bai (old), now part of Lao Cai province.

Seeing the colorful decorations and loud music outside the wedding hall, the two foreign guests were curious and stopped their car to observe. It seemed that they wanted to learn more about the local culture.
Accidentally seeing this scene, groom Hai Doan took the initiative to go out and talk. Because he was able to communicate in English, there was no language barrier between them.
After that, the bride and groom proactively invited two strangers to join the party. They were arranged by the host to sit at the groom's table with his friends for easy interaction. The appearance of foreign guests made many people excited, making the party atmosphere more exciting.
Sharing with reporters, bride Van Anh said that her family wanted to invite two foreign guests to join in the fun so that they could experience the traditional wedding culture, and at the same time show the hospitality of the Vietnamese people.

Two Western guests were excited when everyone showed them how to enjoy the dishes on the table. They sent their best wishes to the newlyweds.
Because she wanted her guests to feel as comfortable as possible, the bride did not ask them what country they were from or how long they would be traveling in Vietnam. The couple just wanted this to be an opportunity for the guests to have memorable memories when they came to Lao Cai.
"Although the two guests were not used to using chopsticks, they ate enthusiastically, chatted happily, and were not afraid to try new dishes. The atmosphere was very friendly," said a guest sitting at the same table.
The two guests stayed until the party ended before leaving. They thanked the host for giving them the opportunity to learn more about the local life and culture.
From 8m2 room to property owner
When videos of the couple's wedding party became widely known, Van Anh and Hai Doan's love story also received much attention.
Bride Van Anh said they met each other through a mutual friend from university and then fell in love without realizing it.
They have been together since they both started out in a rented room in Hanoi with an area of only 8 square meters.

Without support from either family, the two went into business together. Gradually, the young couple bought their own house, a car, and ran a company together.
When asked about the most memorable memory that her husband has given her, the bride Van Anh could not hide her happiness. She said that at the end of last year, when the whole company was holding a year-end party, Hai Doan suddenly volunteered to sing a song he had composed himself.
What she didn't expect was that this was the song her lover had written for her. After that, he proposed to her in front of dozens of company employees, making her burst into tears of happiness.
“Mr. Doan is a mature person, serious at work and quite romantic. Maybe these factors help us become more and more connected and develop together,” she shared.
