BRINGING VIETNAMESE PRODUCTS TO WORKERS

In industrial parks in the province, many enterprises have promoted the role of trade unions in organizing programs to bring Vietnamese goods to workers in flexible forms, suitable to actual conditions.

According to records at Freeview Industrial Vietnam Co., Ltd. and Du Duc Vietnam Co., Ltd. (Tan Huong Industrial Park), the activities responding to the Movement are increasingly practical, closely linked to workers' lives and creating high consensus.

Freeview Industrial Vietnam Co., Ltd., specializes in manufacturing sports shoes and materials for the shoe industry, with over 21,000 workers. Every month, when workers receive their salaries, the Trade Union coordinates with Tuoi Mart to organize promotional sales right at the company, with many Vietnamese products discounted from 5% - 10%, with a buy 3 get 1 free program. Every month, 2 sales are organized, attracting a large number of workers to participate.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Thuy Linh, Vice President of the Company's Trade Union, said that employees strongly support the preferential sales because of reasonable prices, guaranteed quality and convenient shopping. Based on actual needs, workers proposed opening more sales points within the company to better serve.

In addition, the company always responds to the Campaign by choosing Vietnamese products as gifts for workers on holidays and Tet; prioritizing the use of essential goods from domestic enterprises.

Many other caring activities are also associated with Vietnamese products, such as giving gifts to workers in difficult circumstances. Each time, dozens of gifts are prepared from quality Vietnamese products.

In particular, when the Pregnant and Childcare Club was established, the Trade Union presented 50 gifts of Vietnamese essential goods, and distributed shopping vouchers at the "Zero-VND Store" so that workers could choose 13 products according to their needs.

The model of regular activities held every 3 months continues to be maintained, along with giving out shopping vouchers to support union members. These are practical activities, showing that the Trade Union is flexibly integrating the Movement into the work of caring for workers' lives.

The Trade Union of Du Duc Vietnam Co., Ltd. in collaboration with the Provincial Labor Federation and welfare partner Agape recently held the inauguration ceremony of the Trade Union Welfare Center and Welfare Supermarket at Tan Huong Industrial Park.

Over the years, the company's Trade Union has always considered the task of caring for and protecting the rights and interests of union members as the core, while actively accompanying businesses in improving workers' lives.

Mr. Nguyen Van Be Ba, Chairman of the Company's Trade Union, said that putting the Welfare Center and Welfare Supermarket into operation not only expands the supply channel for essential goods at preferential prices and guaranteed quality, but is also a step to concretize the Movement right within the enterprise.

This model contributes to creating conditions for workers to easily access reputable Vietnamese products, thereby forming sustainable consumption habits, while supporting Vietnamese enterprises to expand their markets in industrial parks.

“The Union appreciates the support of welfare partner Agape in providing a rich source of Vietnamese goods, ensuring quality and complying with safety standards. This cooperation shows the effectiveness of the connection between the Union - Enterprise - welfare partner to take more practical care of union members and workers,” Mr. Nguyen Van Be Ba added.

In parallel with the models at enterprises, the Provincial Labor Federation has promoted the implementation of the "Welfare for union members" program and has just signed cooperation agreements with 3 domestic enterprises to provide goods, necessities, gifts and services at preferential prices from 5% - 40% for union members and employees.

The units include: Hoang Tam Company Limited (providing gifts, necessities, cosmetics, household goods), Agape Group Joint Stock Company (organizing direct and online welfare supermarkets) and Batos Joint Stock Company Branch (providing confectionery, stationery, household goods...).

This cooperation contributes to increasing access to quality Vietnamese products at reasonable prices for workers, while creating more options in care programs of unions at all levels.

Ms. Tran Thi My Hang, a worker at Freeview Industrial Vietnam Co., Ltd., shared: “When the Union promoted and organized the sale of Vietnamese goods right at the company, I saw that Vietnamese goods were very diverse, with reasonable prices and guaranteed quality. I hope the Union will organize more promotional sales sessions, especially during salary payments and weekends; and at the same time, expand fixed points of sale in the company to make it more convenient for workers to shop.”

The support of enterprises also contributes to expanding the distribution channel of Vietnamese goods in industrial zones, creating a stable market for domestic products. These results show that the Campaign, when properly implemented at the grassroots level, will bring practical benefits to workers and enterprises.

CONTINUE EXPANDING

The Provincial Federation of Labor is one of the member units of the Provincial Steering Committee of the Campaign. Since the beginning of the year, the unit has developed and issued a plan to implement the Campaign; improve the effectiveness of the Provincial Legal Education and Dissemination Club and grassroots propaganda clubs.

Depending on the actual situation, the Trade Unions at all levels have organized propaganda in many appropriate forms such as coordinating with professionals to link propaganda content with agency activities and specialized activities of the Trade Union; the Enterprise Trade Union organized propaganda through internal loudspeakers, through information boards, and broadcasting on vehicles transporting and picking up workers, etc.

Vice President of the Provincial Federation of Labor, Ngo Thi Thuy Trang, said that the Provincial Federation of Labor also directed all levels of the Union to purchase products and goods to give, visit, and subsidize union members, workers, civil servants, and laborers according to the permitted regime from the Union's budget, giving priority to purchasing products, goods, and services of units that have signed welfare programs with the Union at all levels, which are domestic products and Vietnamese brands.

Along with that, promoting the implementation of the Program "Welfare for Union Members", during the year the Provincial Labor Federation and Unions at all levels signed cooperation agreements with domestic units; thereby, creating conditions for union members and employees to use products and services with high benefits.

At the same time, launch the emulation movement "Good workers, creative workers", promote initiatives, improve techniques, improve product and goods quality in enterprises, contributing to enhancing the reputation of Vietnamese goods brands in the market.

In the coming time, trade unions at all levels will continue to focus on doing a good job of propaganda and fully implementing the policies and directions of the Central Committee, Provincial Party Committee, Vietnam General Confederation of Labor and the Steering Committee of the Movement. Trade unions at all levels will strengthen innovation in communication forms.

The Trade Union proactively coordinates with enterprises to organize programs to bring Vietnamese goods to workers, introduce high-quality Vietnamese products, launch a movement to consume Vietnamese goods among union members... contributing to spreading the habit of consuming Vietnamese goods among workers, while supporting domestic enterprises to expand the market and enhance the position of Vietnamese products.
