According to the National Center for Meteorological and Hydrological Forecasting, a cold front is currently moving southward (October 31).

Around late afternoon and night of November 1st, this cold air mass will affect the northeastern region of Vietnam, then the North Central region, some areas in the Northwest and Central Central regions. Northeast winds inland will strengthen to level 2-3, and level 3-4 in coastal areas.

During this cold spell, the weather in the Northern region will remain relatively unchanged. From the night of November 1st, the nights and early mornings in the Northern region will be cold, especially in mountainous areas where it will be freezing. The lowest temperatures in the Northern region will generally range from 18-21 degrees Celsius, 15-18 degrees Celsius in mountainous areas, and below 15 degrees Celsius in some high mountainous areas; in Thanh Hoa and Nghe An, the lowest temperatures will generally range from 20-23 degrees Celsius.
