Tourists flock to Me Linh Flower Festival on weekends

Kinhtedothi - This weekend, hundreds of thousands of tourists from all over flock to the administrative square of Me Linh district, Hanoi to enjoy the biggest flower festival in the North.

With hundreds of flowers in full bloom, the 2nd Me Linh Flower Festival - 2024 organized by the People's Committee of Me Linh district took place in 4 days (December 26 - 29). The Me Linh Flower Festival with the theme "Me Linh is brilliant with flowers" organized many exciting and meaningful activities, such as: "Flower bicycle decoration contest from recycled materials"; painting contest; gluing and assembling "giant" flower paintings; English Festival activities for students; "Me Linh is brilliant with flowers" Ao Dai performance; special art programs of sectors, organizations and exciting performances of bands, street circus artists... attracted a large number of visitors.

The 2nd Me Linh Flower Festival - 2024 will be held at the square of the administrative center of Me Linh district.

At the Festival, the artisans arranged and designed according to each theme with 10 main modules and 8 miniatures decorated with flowers from Me Linh land.

In recent days, the central square of Me Linh district's administrative center has become a meeting place for tens of thousands of tourists.

Not only tourists in Hanoi, many tourists from neighboring provinces also eagerly come to Me Linh Flower Festival.

Attending the Flower Festival, Ms. Luong Thi Phuong (Dong Anh District, Hanoi) shared: “Through the media, I learned that Me Linh District organizes the largest flower festival in the North. On this occasion, my family and I came here to have fun and visit the space filled with flowers. We captured many beautiful images here.”

Within the framework of the Festival, the People's Committee of Me Linh district coordinated with the Center for Investment, Trade Promotion and Tourism of Hanoi City to organize a "Trade Promotion Fair" with more than 100 exhibition booths.

In recent days, the number of tourists flocking to the Me Linh Flower Festival has been increasing. In order to serve the people and tourists who have not had time to enjoy the festival from December 26 to 29, the Festival Organizing Committee continues to extend the flower display time at the Me Linh Flower Festival until December 30.
