Tourists flocked to the Me Linh Flower Festival this weekend.

Kinhtedothi - This weekend, hundreds of thousands of tourists from all over flocked to the administrative square of Me Linh district, Hanoi , to enjoy the largest flower festival in Northern Vietnam.
With hundreds of flower species in full bloom, the 2nd Me Linh Flower Festival - 2024, organized by the People's Committee of Me Linh District, took place over four days (December 26-29). The festival, themed "Me Linh Radiant with Flowers," featured many lively and meaningful activities, such as: a competition to decorate bicycles with flowers from recycled materials; a painting competition; creating a giant flower mosaic; English festival activities for students; a traditional Vietnamese dress (áo dài) fashion show; special cultural performances by various sectors and organizations; and vibrant performances by street bands and circus artists… attracting a large number of visitors.
The 2nd Me Linh Flower Festival - 2024 was held at the square of the Me Linh District administrative center. At the Festival, the artisans arranged and designed themed displays with 10 main modules and 8 miniature scenes decorated with flowers native to Me Linh. In recent days, the central administrative square of Me Linh district has become a popular destination for tens of thousands of tourists. Not only tourists from Hanoi, but also many visitors from neighboring provinces flock to the Me Linh Flower Festival.
Attending the Flower Festival, Ms. Luong Thi Phuong (Dong Anh district, Hanoi) shared: “Through the media, I learned that Me Linh district organizes the largest flower festival in the North. On this occasion, my family and I came here to have fun and explore the space filled with colorful flowers. We have captured many beautiful images here.”
Many families choose to visit the Me Linh Flower Festival for sightseeing and recreation during the weekend. Many activities are organized at the Me Linh Flower Festival.
Within the framework of the Festival, the People's Committee of Me Linh District, in coordination with the Hanoi City Investment, Trade Promotion and Tourism Center, organized a "Trade Promotion Fair with more than 100 exhibition booths." In recent days, the number of visitors flocking to the Me Linh Flower Festival has been increasing. To serve the people and tourists who did not have the opportunity to enjoy the festival from December 26-29, the Organizing Committee of the Me Linh Flower Festival has extended the flower display period until December 30.
