
At the conference, delegates discussed and reached a high consensus on the structure, composition and number of candidates. As planned, the People's Council of the commune for the 2026-2031 term will have 30 elected delegates, with 50 candidates nominated. Regarding the composition, it includes: The Party bloc nominated 8 delegates (16%), the People's Council of the commune nominated 3 delegates (6%), the People's Committee of the commune nominated 9 delegates (18%), the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the commune and other organizations nominated 17 delegates (34%), the armed forces nominated 4 delegates (8%), the hamlets nominated 5 delegates (10%), public service units nominated 2 delegates (4%), religions had 01 delegate (2%), and enterprises had 01 delegate (2%). This is considered an important step in the opening of the election process, aiming to ensure democratic principles and select typical candidates with capacity, qualities and prestige.
Speaking at the conference, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the commune, Ho Thi Kim Ngan, emphasized the importance of consultation work in building the team of delegates of the People's Council of the commune for the new term. She affirmed that the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the commune will strictly implement the instructions of the superiors, strictly follow the 5-step process, ensure democracy, publicity, objectivity and on time.
