The Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee noted that the advisory agencies and the District People's Committee must carry out the steps and procedures in parallel so that the project can be implemented promptly. In particular, it is necessary to urgently include the project in the medium-term public investment plan, capital allocation plan, investor, etc.
According to the Department of Planning and Investment, the current traffic network in the area connecting Cao Xa station (Cam Giang) includes 3 routes. District road 19 runs parallel to the Hanoi - Hai Phong railway through Cao An commune, 4.2 km long, with a road surface of 4-6 m. District road 194B through Cao An commune is 1.6 km long, 6-9 m wide, with an asphalt and concrete surface. Provincial road 394 through Cao An commune is about 1.8 km long, 6-9 m wide.
Vietnam Railways Corporation has completed the investment and upgrading of Cao Xa station on the basis of the existing land and will continue to invest in expansion in the coming time. Early investment in renovating and upgrading the routes connecting to Cao Xa station is necessary to meet the demand for freight transport. The Department of Planning and Investment proposed that the Provincial People's Committee consider the investment policy to renovate and upgrade the routes connecting to Cao Xa Cam Giang station. In the immediate future, priority will be given to investing in renovating and upgrading district road 194B with a road surface width of 10.5 m. Cam Giang District People's Committee focuses on balancing and allocating capital from the district budget to soon invest in renovating and upgrading district roads 19 and 194B in the medium-term public investment plan for the 2021-2025 and 2026-2030 periods.
