Tourism in anticipation of the Grand Celebration: Public price listing and fair pricing required.

The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism requests that localities disseminate and guide businesses and tourism service establishments to publicly display prices, sell at the correct price, and ensure the correct quantity and quality.

The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism requests the People's Committees of provinces and centrally-administered cities to strengthen efforts to ensure security and safety for tourists, in order to achieve the industry's growth targets as well as ensure security and order during major holidays, especially the upcoming National Day on September 2nd.

Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Ho An Phong recently signed a document addressed to the People's Committees of provinces and centrally-administered cities. In it, the Ministry requests that localities disseminate and guide tourism businesses and service establishments to publicly display prices, sell at the correct price, and ensure the correct quantity, quality, and weight of goods and services for tourists; and to refrain from soliciting, harassing, pressuring, or defrauding tourists.

The official document also requested ensuring environmental hygiene in business areas; investing in the construction of standard restrooms for tourists; ensuring food safety and hygiene for tourists; and ensuring security and safety for tourists.

The Ministry also requested localities to invest in developing tourism products and improving the quality of tourism products and services; strengthen guidance and conduct regular and surprise inspections of the implementation of legal regulations on the tourism environment, promptly prevent and strictly handle violations in accordance with the law.

The Ministry's leadership also requested the implementation of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism's Code of Conduct for Civilized Tourism; the set of criteria for evaluating tourist destinations; and the project "Preventing crime and combating violations of the law in cultural, sports and tourism activities in the period 2021-2025"...

Continue to implement measures to ensure the safety of tourists with regard to tourism products that pose a risk to the life and health of tourists, in accordance with the provisions of the 2017 Tourism Law and Government Decree No. 168/2017/ND-CP dated December 31, 2017, detailing a number of articles of the Tourism Law.

In particular, it is crucial to strongly urge and direct organizations and individuals operating in the tourism sector to further enhance their sense of responsibility and ensure absolute safety for tourists participating in tourism products that may pose risks to their lives and health, in order to prevent risks and unfortunate incidents.

Simultaneously, continuously warn, remind, and guide residents and tourists about risks and safety measures using easy-to-remember and easy-to-follow content and messages through traditional methods as well as new communication methods, applying digital transformation and artificial intelligence (AI).
