Railway launches train inspired by Queen Nam Phuong Palace

(NLDO)- La Reine train running on the Da Lat - Trai Mat route was put into operation by Vietnam Railways Corporation from December 24.

On December 24, Vietnam Railways Corporation put into operation the La Reine (Queen) train to serve passengers on the Da Lat - Trai Mat route. The operation of this train aims to continue to bring passengers new experiences, meeting the increasing needs of train passengers.

Inspired by the architecture of Queen Nam Phuong's palace, La Reine carriages are designed luxuriously and delicately, a combination of Indochinese and French styles, both bearing the beauty of Asian classicism and the romantic, poetic features of Da Lat. The ancient-style decorative lighting system creates a harmonious, luxurious overall space.

The train is equipped with 36 seats along both sides to facilitate tourists to admire the scenery. In particular, the train has 12-seat VIP compartments suitable for tourists buying family tickets and wanting private space.

Vietnam Railways Corporation applies many promotional programs to reduce train ticket prices such as: passengers buying round-trip tickets get a 25% discount on two-way tickets. Passengers buying group tickets of 10 people or more get a discount from 15% to 40% on ticket prices.
