At the launch press conference, singer Trinh Vinh Trinh shared: "I feel in the artists of Let's Love Jazz a sincere love for Trinh's music and a desire to converse in their own language."
Let's Love Jazz aims to renew and spread Trinh Cong Son's music through jazz, fusion, and acoustic arrangements, combined with translation into English, Japanese, and Korean.
The project creates a creative playground for young jazz artists and talented singers at home and abroad with the goal of connecting a generation of young art-loving audiences and bringing Trinh's music to the world through a bridge of musical culture.

Singer Quynh Pham, known as "The Jazz Lady" of Hanoi , said: "Refreshing Trinh's music has become an inspiring musical stream, but most of it has stopped at single experiments. Let's Love Jazz wants to create a long-term, meticulous and connected journey, so that Trinh's music can reach the new generation and step out into the world."
The project will be implemented in 3 phases. Phase 1 (2025-2026) - searching for young singers, organizing mini shows, online concerts, launching new albums in the spirit of dialogue between jazz and Trinh. Jazz Love Stations will be built in Hanoi, Hue, Da Nang, Ho Chi Minh City, where young artists will be guided, inspired and perform live.
Phase 2 (2027) - expanding cooperation with international artists, releasing digital music, organizing 4 large-scale concerts in 4 major cities of Vietnam and performing abroad.
Phase 3 (2028) - launching new works, organizing a series of Vietnamese-international jazz exchanges, releasing albums in foreign markets, with the participation of international singers.
After the launch ceremony, the project will release an EP with 5 bilingual versions on digital music platforms. The Deluxe version (8 songs) is expected to be released on February 28, 2026, on the birthday of the late musician Trinh Cong Son, in 3 formats: Digital, CD, Vinyl.
Music director Vu Quang Trung said the arrangement process was a big challenge: "Jazz is improvisation, while Trinh's music is simple and profound. We tried to find a way to balance it to keep it close but bring in new colors, from harmony, rhythm to the way each artist handled it."
As a language consultant, Dr. Nguyen Nhat Tuan (Hanoi University) shared: "Translating Trinh's lyrics is not just a translation but also a rewriting of emotions in another language. I have to find an equivalent emotional rhythm between the meaning and the music to preserve Trinh's soul."
