The ranking is based on an independent survey by market research company Statista with the participation of more than 50,000 people in 34 countries. This is the second consecutive year that Techcombank has maintained its leading position, affirming the trust and highest level of customer satisfaction.

Techcombank continues to be chosen by customers as the number 1 bank in Vietnam

The survey asked respondents to rate their satisfaction with the banks where they had current or savings accounts or were introduced to by a relative. It also assessed the likelihood of recommending the bank to other relatives or friends.

According to Statista, a total of 12 banks in Vietnam were selected for the survey, with 5 evaluation criteria including: Reliability; Terms and conditions (such as fees and interest rates); Customer service (waiting time and level of enthusiasm of staff); Services via digital channels; and Quality of financial consulting services. Techcombank was voted the number 1 bank in Vietnam.

Sharing about this achievement, Ms. Thai Minh Diem Tu - Director of Marketing Division of Techcombank emphasized: “We identify the brand as the foundation to strengthen the long-term trust of customers - the decisive factor in the position and ability to break through on the journey to reach the regional level of Techcombank. The strategy of 'brand led growth' - that is, growth led by the brand, where we put customers at the center, with the expectation of becoming an important part, accompanying customers in their lives, where customers are attached by emotions and trust in the brand".

Ms. Tu also said that in an era where technology and trends are constantly changing, the only thing that is sustainable is the ability to maintain customer trust. Research by Harvard Business Review has shown that the cost of acquiring a new customer is 5 to 25 times higher than retaining an existing customer. Loyalty is therefore not only a measure of success but also a factor that determines the cost-effectiveness of a brand.

Being voted by customers as the No. 1 Bank in Vietnam once again affirms Techcombank's customer-centric strategy, with outstanding digital capabilities and an increasingly expanding partner ecosystem that has won the trust of customers. Innovative products such as Techcombank Automatic Profit or Techcombank Rewards loyalty program have helped customers manage their finances effectively and consume wisely. At the same time, the Bank continues to strengthen its development strategy by segment, deploying new solutions such as C-Cash - a cash management platform, helping Techcombank become the main transaction bank for many businesses and expanding cooperative relationships with customers.

With experiences that exceed expectations - from Private Lounge spaces at international airports to a series of top cultural and artistic events such as Techcombank bringing the original 150-year-old Opera Carmen to Vietnam, The Season Ballet, and the Golden Imprint Music Night gathering many famous artists - Techcombank not only provides financial services, but also creates memorable moments, associating the brand with the position of the most "customer-friendly" bank today.

Techcombank Automatic Profit has won the trust of more than 3 million customers after just over 1 year of launch.

As a pioneer in eliminating banking transaction fees, in 2024 Techcombank will continue to become the number one bank in the market for money transfer and receiving transactions via 24/7 digital channels and QR payments - according to NAPAS statistics. Over the past year, the number of individual customers using Techcombank as their main transaction bank has increased by about 25%, thanks to a hyper-personalized interaction strategy and data-driven products and services.

Thanks to that, Techcombank welcomed 1.9 million new customers in 2024 and became a trusted choice for more than 15.4 million individual and corporate customers, affirming its leading position in the banking system in Vietnam in many fields.

Techcombank’s brand also reached new heights with a 61% increase in Brand Health Index (BEI), becoming the bank with the strongest brand health index in Vietnam by the end of 2024. The Bank’s NPS also reached 91 in Q4, ranking 2nd in the industry. These scores reflect customers’ deep trust in the Techcombank brand, as well as their willingness to recommend the Bank to their acquaintances, demonstrating the bank’s commitment to putting customers at the center of all its operations.

In the context of increasingly fierce competition, a brand is not just a name or logo, but has become a "strategic asset" of banks. From HSBC, JPMorgan Chase to DBS - leading banks in the region and the world - Techcombank also chooses to build a brand based on trust, emotions and customer loyalty. Because that is the most valuable asset a brand can own.

Vietnam Technological and Commercial Joint Stock Bank (Techcombank) is currently one of the largest joint stock banks in Vietnam and a leading bank in Asia with a vision: Transforming the financial industry, enhancing the values of life. Techcombank pursues a customer-centric strategy by providing retail and business banking solutions and services to help empower its customers financially. Techcombank currently serves more than 15 million individual and business customers through its digital banking platform and mobile banking application, as well as a nationwide network of branches and transaction offices. Techcombank's ecosystem approach, implemented across key economic sectors with its partners, continues to differentiate Techcombank in one of the fastest growing economies in the world. Techcombank is rated AA- and Ba3 by FiinRatings and Moody's, respectively. Techcombank is also rated BB- by S&P, the highest among joint stock commercial banks in Vietnam.
