At 8 PM on October 10th, a music night titled "Flying Petals" will take place at the Cultural Center of Hanoi University of Culture (418 La Thanh Street, Dong Da District, Hanoi).
This program, initiated by singer Ngoc Khue, aims to raise funds for scholarships for students who were victims of the mini-apartment building fire in Khuong Ha (Thanh Xuan, Hanoi) on September 12th.
Taking place on October 10th, "Flying Petals" hopes to contribute another meaningful musical program to the celebration of the 69th anniversary of the Liberation of Hanoi.
The artists will participate in the "Flying Petals" concert.
Sharing her thoughts about the concert, Ngoc Khue said that she, like many other residents, was heartbroken and shocked by the tragic fire.
As a mother, an artist, and an educator, she felt even more heartbroken knowing that the victims were still of school age. These children might have their education interrupted or affected, and they might need treatment for physical injuries and mental trauma after such a devastating event in their lives.
Therefore, she decided to hold a charity fundraising concert to help fulfill the dreams of the victims to go to school and receive an education.
Immediately after sharing the idea, nearly 20 artists such as Meritorious Artist Thanh Lam, Meritorious Artist Pham Phuong Thao, Minh Quan, Khanh Linh... along with the choir of the Hanoi Children's Palace immediately responded and participated.
In addition, using their connections and influence, the artists also called for donations for the program. The total amount of money raised will be announced immediately after the performance.
Singer Ngoc Cham, the director of the once-golden company, also volunteered to organize the program.
Ngoc Cham said: "This is an opportunity for Hanoi artists to show their concern for social life and express their gratitude to the audience through practical and meaningful actions."
We call upon every audience member to spread the noble humanitarian spirit of the people of Hanoi in particular and the Vietnamese people in general."
According to the organizers, the "Flying Petals" program is divided into two chapters. Chapter 1 is titled "Awakening the Soul," and Chapter 2 is "Connecting with Love."
Each ticket represents a heartfelt gesture; the artists participating in the program express their hope that their aspirations will be echoed by the audience, creating a moving and meaningful musical evening.
Earlier, on the evening of September 24th, singer Dam Vinh Hung initiated a fundraising concert called "Night of Love," aiming to raise funds to support the victims of the Khuong Ha mini-apartment building fire.
The concert brought together nearly 20 singers such as: Thai Chau, Huong Lan, Ngoc Son, Cam Van, Dam Vinh Hung, Quang Dung, Duong Trieu Vu, Giang Hong Ngoc, To My...
The total amount of 1.6 billion VND collected from the concert's revenue, the auction of items from singer Dam Vinh Hung, and personal donations from artists and benefactors will be donated to the victims of the fire.
