The program is a large-scale event organized to commemorate many important historical milestones of the nation, such as: the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam ; the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and the reunification of the country; and the 80th anniversary of the Traditional Day of the People's Public Security Force. Organized by the Party Committee of the Central Public Security, the Ministry of Public Security, in coordination with the People's Committee of Tay Ninh province, the program is scheduled to take place on the evening of April 12th at the Tay Ninh Hero and Martyrs Memorial Square and will be broadcast live on VTV1. It will also be rebroadcast on TNTV and ANTV channels. With a duration of 90 minutes, the program has 3 acts with 6 scenes, interspersed with elements of theatrical art, cinema, and modern performance technology.
Director Tuyet Minh emphasized the significance: "We hope not only to recreate history, but also to create a bridge between the past and the present, through art, to help the younger generation be more proud of the journey of our nation's struggle for independence by our army and people."
This is the first time the Political Affairs Department (Ministry of Public Security) has produced a political art program in a semi-realistic format, recreating the heroic deeds and silent sacrifices of the security forces during the resistance war against the US to save the country.
The main content of the program portrays the life and revolutionary career of Colonel To Quyen and other pioneering revolutionaries at the Central Committee of the Southern Region. From his childhood in Xuan Cau to his days fighting on the Tay Ninh battlefield, the image of Colonel To Quyen represents the bravery and unwavering loyalty of the previous generation.
In addition, the program also honors the security forces of the South, those who operated behind enemy lines, facing sacrifice to protect the revolution and contributing to the historic victory of 1975.
