Nearly 59 billion VND for road maintenance and repair in Ha Tinh

Ha Tinh allocated nearly 59 billion VND from the budget to units and localities to carry out regular maintenance of road and inland waterway systems and periodically repair roads.

Regular maintenance and periodic repair of roads and inland waterways in Ha Tinh contribute to ensuring traffic safety.

The Provincial People's Committee has just issued Decision No. 1484/QD-UBND dated June 27 on allocating VND 58,741 billion from the budget to support units and localities in carrying out regular maintenance of road and inland waterway systems and periodic repairs of roads in the province.

This amount is taken from the local road management and maintenance fund and the local road and inland waterway system maintenance fund.

Of the VND58,741 billion, VND29,589 billion is for regular management and maintenance and VND29,152 billion is for periodic repairs.

District Road DH.31 in Can Loc is damaged and degraded in many locations, posing a potential risk of traffic accidents.

Specifically, the budget for regular management and maintenance includes 11,346 billion VND for management and maintenance of the provincial road system (10,250 billion VND) and local inland waterways (1,096 billion VND).

396 million VND for management and maintenance of roads in economic zones; 11,663 billion VND for management and maintenance of district and urban roads (roads managed by district level); 6,184 billion VND for management and maintenance of roads managed by commune level

Of the budget for periodic repairs, 545 million VND is spent on repairing roads in economic zones; 13.767 billion VND is spent on repairing district and urban roads; and 14.840 billion VND is spent on repairing roads managed by communes.
