In the 2024-2025 coffee crop, in the highland communes of Quang Tri province, the weather was unfavorable at the beginning of the season, so this year's coffee output was not high. However, this year, the price was exceptionally high, coffee growers in the highlands of Quang Tri were very excited. Many households earned up to billions of dong.

Up to this point, the people in the highlands have harvested about 70% of the coffee area. Every year, the price of coffee is only about 10,000 - 20,000 VND/kg of fresh fruit. This year, it has increased to 30,000 - 35,000 VND/kg of fresh fruit.

Quang Tri province currently has more than 3,700 hectares of coffee, with an estimated yield of about 12 tons/hectare and an expected output of 40,000 - 45,000 tons of fresh fruit.

Mr. Nguyen Anh Cu - Vice Chairman of Khe Sanh Commune People's Committee, Quang Tri Province said: "The local government is re-planning production areas, especially coffee trees. Propagating and mobilizing people, especially introducing techniques and technologies in caring for and producing coffee trees to people. Building cooperatives and linkage chains to ensure sustainable output of coffee beans".

Quang Tri is encouraging the development of organic coffee and specialty coffee to increase value and bring the Khe Sanh coffee brand to the international market in the near future.
