Recently, at the invitation of the Organizing Committee of the 9th Buon Ma Thuot Coffee Festival 2025, the Director General of the International Coffee Organization (ICO), Ms. Vanusia Noguiera, will attend the festival. This marks the first time a representative of international stature has attended the festival, signifying an important step in enhancing the position of Vietnamese coffee on the world map.

The fact that a prestigious organization like the ICO is paying special attention to the festival reflects the increasingly important role of Vietnamese coffee in the global supply chain. The presence of Ms. Vanusia Noguiera promises to attract a large number of diplomatic delegations, agricultural organizations, industry associations, coffee businesses, and international press.

Buon Ma Thuot Robusta coffee is currently exported to more than 100 countries and territories, and is popular in major coffee-consuming countries such as Germany, Italy, China, the United States, Japan, Spain, and Indonesia.

The International Coffee Organization (ICO), established in 1963, currently has 49 members (75 countries), including 42 producing members and 7 importing members. ICO member countries account for 98% of the world's coffee production and 63% of global coffee consumption.

The Buon Ma Thuot Coffee Festival is not only a cultural event but also a great opportunity for the Vietnamese coffee industry to expand cooperation with international organizations and markets, contributing to enhancing the value and position of Vietnamese coffee in the global market.
