Coffee prices increase slightly, pepper prices are stable

Currently, the average coffee purchase price in the Central Highlands provinces is 125,100 VND/kg.

Specifically, today's coffee price in Dak Lak is 125,000 VND/kg. Coffee price in Lam Dong is 124,300 VND/kg, in Gia Lai is 125,000 VND/kg. Coffee price in Dak Nong today is 125,200 VND/kg.

In the world market, at the end of the trading session, Robusta coffee prices increased sharply compared to yesterday's trading session, fluctuating between 5,107 - 5,270 USD/ton. Specifically, the delivery price for May 2025 is 5,270 USD/ton; the delivery price for July 2025 is 5,255 USD/ton; the delivery price for September 2025 is 5,179 USD/ton and the delivery price for November 2025 is 5,107 USD/ton.

Arabica coffee prices on the New York floor also increased sharply compared to the previous trading session and are at a high level, fluctuating from 349.1 to 364.35 cents/lb. Specifically, the delivery period in May 2025 is 364.35 cents/lb; the delivery period in July 2025 is 362.35 cents/lb; the delivery period in September 2025 is 356.45 cents/lb and the delivery period in December 2025 is 349.1 cents/lb.

At the end of the trading session, the price of Brazilian Arabica coffee increased sharply compared to the previous trading session, fluctuating from 426 to 479 USD/pound. Specifically, the delivery period in May 2025 is 479 USD/pound; the delivery period in July 2025 is 443.3 USD/pound; the delivery period in September 2025 is 439 USD/pound and the delivery period in December 2025 is 426 USD/pound.

April 15: Coffee prices increase slightly, pepper prices are stable

Today's domestic pepper prices are stable, sideways and at a high level. Currently, the average pepper purchase price in key areas is 155,300 VND/kg.

Specifically, today's pepper price in Gia Lai province is stable compared to yesterday's trading session, currently the pepper purchase price in this locality is at 154,000 VND/kg.

Similarly, pepper prices in Ba Ria - Vung Tau fluctuated little, remaining at a high level, currently pepper is purchased at 155,000 VND/kg.

Pepper prices in Binh Phuoc have remained stable compared to the previous trading session. Currently, pepper prices are purchased at 154,000 VND/kg.

Dak Nong pepper prices remain stable compared to yesterday, currently the local pepper purchase price is at 156,500 VND/kg.

Pepper prices in Dak Lak have remained stable compared to the previous high session. Currently, pepper purchasing prices in this locality are the highest in the country at 157,000 VND/kg.

In the world market, pepper prices tend to decrease sharply in some countries. Specifically, the International Pepper Community (IPC) listed the price of Indonesian Lampung black pepper at 7,081 USD/ton (down 0.78%); similarly, Muntok white pepper is currently purchased at 9,675 USD/ton (down 1.19%).

The Malaysian pepper market has decreased sharply compared to the most recent trading session. Currently, the price of Malaysian ASTA black pepper is purchased at 9,600 USD/ton (down 2.6%) and the price of ASTA white pepper is at 12,100 USD/ton (down 1.65%).

Pepper prices in Brazil increased slightly after previous slight increases, currently the purchase price reached 6,850 USD/ton (up 0.73%).

The Vietnamese pepper market has stabilized and is now flat. The current export price of Vietnamese black pepper is at 6,600 USD/ton for 500 g/l; 550 g/l is at 6,800 USD/ton and the price of white pepper is at 9,600 USD/ton.
