Today, November 1st, rice prices in the Mekong Delta region remained stable. Paddy prices increased by 100 VND/kg. Export rice prices continued to decline.
According to an update from the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of An Giang province, today's rice prices have been adjusted compared to yesterday. IR 50404 is priced at 6,700 – 7,100 VND/kg, an increase of 100 VND/kg; Dai Thom 8 rice is priced at 7,800 – 8,000 VND/kg; OM 5451 rice is priced at 7,300 – 7,600 VND/kg, an increase of 100 VND/kg; OM 18 rice is priced at 7,200 – 7,500 VND/kg; OM 380 rice fluctuates between 7,000 – 7,200 VND/kg; Nhat rice is at 7,800 – 8,000 VND/kg; and Nang Nhen (dried) rice is at 20,000 VND/kg.

In the rice market, localities such as Hau Giang and Dong Thap have observed stable prices, slow transactions of new rice, and limited purchasing power. In Kien Giang , the autumn-winter rice supply is running low, with limited quantities arriving.
In addition, the glutinous rice market remained unchanged compared to yesterday. Long An IR 4625 glutinous rice (dry) at 9,600 – 9,800 VND/kg remained stable compared to yesterday. Long An 3-month glutinous rice (dry) at 9,800 – 10,000 VND/kg also remained unchanged compared to yesterday.
In the rice market, localities such as Soc Trang and Dong Thap have observed slow trading activity, slow purchasing by warehouses, low supply, and stable prices for all types of rice.
On the rice market, rice prices remained unchanged compared to yesterday. Currently, the price of IR 504 summer-autumn raw rice is 10,550 – 10,700 VND/kg. Meanwhile, the price of finished IR 504 rice is 12,500 – 12,650 VND/kg, stable compared to yesterday.
Regarding by-products, the prices of various by-products range from 6,200 to 9,600 VND/kg. Currently, the price of OM 5451 broken rice is 9,400 – 9,600 VND/kg; the price of dry rice bran has risen to 6,400 – 6,500 VND/kg, an increase of 100 VND/kg compared to yesterday.
At retail markets, rice prices remained unchanged for individual rice varieties. Currently, Nang Nhen rice is listed at the highest price of 28,000 VND/kg. However, the price of regular rice continues to be fixed at around 15,000 – 16,000 VND/kg, fragrant rice at 17,000 – 23,000 VND/kg. Jasmine rice is 17,000 – 18,000 VND/kg; Nang Hoa rice is 21,500 VND/kg; regular white rice fluctuates around 15,000 – 16,000 VND/kg; long-grain Thai fragrant rice is 20,000 – 22,000 VND/kg; Huong Lai rice is 23,000 VND/kg; Taiwanese fragrant rice is 21,000 VND/kg; regular Soc rice is 18,500 VND/kg; and Thai Soc rice is 21,000 VND/kg. Japanese rice costs 22,000 VND/kg.
On the export market, Vietnam's rice export prices have been adjusted compared to yesterday. According to the Vietnam Food Association (VFA), 100% broken rice is priced at 427 USD/ton; standard 5% broken rice at 524 USD/ton; and 25% broken rice at 495 USD/ton, a decrease of 2 USD.
