Domestic pepper prices remain stable

According to a survey on the morning of November 8, pepper purchasing prices in key growing areas in the Central Highlands and the Southeast remained unchanged compared to the previous trading session. The highest prices nationwide were recorded in Dak Lak and Lam Dong, both at VND147,000/kg.

• Gia Lai, Ho Chi Minh City and Dong Nai: 145,000 VND/kg

Current price levels reflect a stable trend after a prolonged period of overheating in the early fourth quarter.

World markets have mixed fluctuations

In the international market, pepper prices in Indonesia increased slightly while other countries maintained the same price. This development shows that demand is recovering slightly in the context of supply in Indonesia showing signs of narrowing.

Analysts say the current pepper price level is high compared to the same period in 2024, helping farmers earn good profits. It is forecasted that from now until the end of the year, domestic pepper prices will continue to fluctuate around 145,000 - 150,000 VND/kg. The market may enter an uptrend again if export activities recover strongly in the first quarter of 2026.
