Village 2, Son My - Where solidarity lights up happy seasons

Today, the people here eagerly gathered together at the Village Cultural House to attend the National Great Unity Day - a festival of neighborly love, joy of reunion and spirit of community solidarity.

Attending and sharing the joy with the people were comrade Le Thi Hai Duyen, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Lam Dong Provincial Party Agencies, local leaders and departments, and unions of Son My commune. The presence of the leaders demonstrated the deep concern of the Party Committee and government for the solidarity movement in the residential area.

Before the opening ceremony, the atmosphere at the Village Cultural House was bustling with opening performances by the villagers themselves. Each song and melody was a pride and gratitude to the increasingly prosperous Son My homeland.

The lives of people here are changing in a positive direction day by day.

Indeed, with the efforts of the Party Committee, the government and the consensus of the people, village 2 has had many proud changes. People have proactively changed suitable crops and livestock, applied science and technology to production, many households have become well-off. The material and spiritual life of the people has increasingly improved.

Not only taking care of economic development, the people of village 2 also pay special attention to building a cultural life in the residential area. Regulations on civilized lifestyle in weddings, funerals, and festivals are strictly implemented. Backward customs and superstitions are gradually pushed back. Last year, 98.5% of households in the village achieved the title of Cultural Family, demonstrating a civilized lifestyle, solidarity, and affection.

At the same time, the movement "All people protect national security" has been maintained effectively, the models "Safe residential areas" and "Self-management in preventing crimes and social evils" have been practically operated, contributing to maintaining security and order, bringing a peaceful life to the people.
