Gold ring price exceeds 93 million VND/tael

The highest price of gold rings ever

Bao Tin Minh Chau Company listed the price of 9999 gold rings at 93.1 million VND/tael, an increase of 1 million VND/tael compared to yesterday, the buying price is 91.9 million VND/tael.

Meanwhile, Saigon Jewelry Company (SJC) listed the price of 9999 gold bars and gold rings at the same level, at 92.7 million VND/tael, buying at 90.7 million VND/tael, an increase of 700,000 VND/tael compared to yesterday.

Phu Nhuan Jewelry Company (PNJ) raised the buying and selling price of gold rings to 92.9 million VND/tael, buying at 91.7 million VND/tael.

Notably, the selling price of gold rings at PNJ Company is 200,000 VND/tael higher than the selling price of gold bars.

Compared to the beginning of January, each tael of gold has increased by nearly 8 million VND/tael.

This afternoon, the world gold price was at 2,922.3 USD/ounce. Converted according to the exchange rate listed at the bank, the world gold price is equivalent to 90.48 million VND/tael.

Compared to the converted world gold price, the domestic gold price is 2.22-2.62 million VND/tael higher. The difference between buying and selling prices remains at 2 million VND/tael.

Gold prices will be unpredictable

According to experts, the world gold price has re-established the 2,900 USD/ounce mark thanks to strong support from the falling USD and increased demand for risk prevention as trade tensions between the US and its main partners escalate.

However, according to experts, any de-escalation of tensions could cause gold prices to fall.

JPMorgan Chase Bank forecasts that the world gold price will reach 3,000 USD/ounce before the fourth quarter of 2025.

However, experts also warned that gold prices could experience unpredictable fluctuations in the short term if tariff and geopolitical tensions can ease.
